FloorSight is currently in Alpha testing phase. By using our service, you acknowledge that the platform is under active development and data handling procedures may be subject to updates and improvements.

Account Registration Information

• Name: Full name for account identification
• Email Address: Used for account authentication and communications
• Phone Number: Israeli format phone number (05X-XXXXXXX) for account verification
• Email Consent: Your agreement to receive commercial communications
• Password: Securely hashed and stored for account access

Video Analysis Data

• Uploaded Videos: Assembly process videos stored temporarily for analysis
• Analysis Results: Timing studies, process steps, and efficiency metrics
• Session Data: Analysis names, upload timestamps, and processing logs
• Usage Tracking: Number of analyses performed and remaining trial credits

Technical Information

• Session Data: Authentication status and user preferences
• Application Logs: Error messages and system performance data for debugging
• Feedback Data: User ratings, suggestions, and improvement requests

How We Use Your Information

• Video Analysis: Process uploaded videos to generate timing studies and process insights
• Account Management: Authenticate users, track trial usage limits, and maintain account security
• Data Storage: Save analysis results to JSON files and MongoDB database for user access
• User Experience: Provide session management, analysis history, and export capabilities
• System Monitoring: Log application performance and errors for debugging purposes
• Feedback Processing: Collect and analyze user suggestions and improvement requests
• Communications: Send commercial emails only with explicit user consent

Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in these limited circumstances:

• AI Processing Services: Video content is processed by third-party AI services for analysis (data is not permanently stored by these services)
• Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or government regulations

• Safety and Security: To protect rights, property, and safety of users and the public

Note: Video analysis is performed through secure API connections. Videos are not permanently stored by external processing services.

Data Security

We implement security measures to protect your information:

• Password Security: User passwords are hashed using werkzeug security functions
• Session Management: Secure session handling for authenticated users
• Local Storage: Data stored locally in JSON files and encrypted MongoDB Atlas database
• API Security: Video processing APIs use secure connections with authentication
• File Handling: Secure filename processing and upload directory management

Alpha Notice: As an alpha product, security measures are continuously being enhanced and tested. Report security concerns through our feedback system.

Data Retention

• User Account Data: Stored in data/users.json and MongoDB database while account is active
• Video Files: Stored locally in uploads/ directory during analysis, manually managed
• Analysis Results: Saved in analysis_history.json and MongoDB for user access and exports
• Session Data: Temporary Flask session data cleared when you log out
• Feedback/Suggestions: Stored in data/suggestions.json and MongoDB for product improvement
• Application Logs: Stored in logs/ directory with rotation for debugging purposes

Alpha Status: Data retention policies are still being finalized. Users can request data deletion through the feedback system.
